SMOB Nomination Process Open February 10-March 3, 2010

Submitted by Mrs. Jenkins on January 14, 2010 - 9:13am

All juniors in good standing at an Anne Arundel County public high school are eligible to be nominated for the 2010-11 Student Member on the Board of Education seat. This position represents the student voice on the Board of Education and is the only student in the entire country that has FULL voting rights on all issues before the Board. Students must be nominated by their peers starting on February 10 through 5 p.m. on March 3, 2010. The formal nomination form is attached and is also available from each high school principal or student government advisor. Nomination forms can be received in person at the CRASC February General Assembly during New Business or should be faxed or mailed to the Office of Student Leadership.
