For any middle schoolers interested in training for the Middle School General Assembly, you're invited to attend our meeting on Wednesday, January 9th from 6:00 - 7:30 at the Board of Education.

Educational Liaisons Committee Meeting!!!
The Educational Liaisons Committee meeting will be held on November 20, 2007 at 7:00pm at the Panera Bread of Glen Burnie. All are welcome to be in attendance for the meeting. We will be discussing Meet the Board Night and the November General Assembly so that we can reflect and also to come up with board policies to take positions on in the future.

CRASC Meet the Board Night
Come and Support Meet the Board Night!!!

Why: To voice your opinion on important issues regarding your education which include:
ÔÉû School Uniforms- discuss the ongoing debate of whether or not students should be subjected to wear school uniforms
ÔÉû Advisory- discuss if having an advisory period is effective to students or just a time to waste in between class periods
ELC's Meet The Board Night Planning Meeting
This is a meeting that will be held by the Educational Liaisons Committee to begin preparation for CRASC's Fall Meet the Board Night.

Student Input Needed by Friday, June 15th

The Anne Arundel County Board of Education is in the process of deliberating the final Fiscal Year 2008 operating and capital budgets and considering cuts in service and increases in fees. Some of the items being considered include increasing the walking distance, imposing a student activity fee, restricting building temperatures, and not filling vacant positions.
Take a few minutes to complete the online survey and make sure the Board of Education hears what students think about these proposals.
